Weight Control Programme – 2nd key element

So here we are day 2 and the 2nd key element of the weight control programme. I am hoping that by the fact that you are reading this you have had time to reflect on the 1st key element and are keen to see what comes next…

Movementnoun –the act of changing physical location or position or of having it changed, in other words exercise!!    Let’s stick with movement as for me that sounds a lot gentler and creates images of slow yoga type movement.  Adding or increasing your movement each and every day is an important element of the programme, but again it will be your choice of what or how you chose to move.  For some it may be increasing their time at the gym, adding an extra Kilometre to their walk or run but for others it could mean starting a new hobby such as yoga or Pilates, taking a short walk each day or perhaps walk to the shop rather than taking the car.  The choice will be yours as it will be your schedule that it needs to fit into. Setting achievable goals will be important but even if you don’t achieve them initially, taking time to reflect will help you learn how to better set your goals.
